On 7 and 8 September 2020, employees of «E.Meshalkin National Medical Research Center» of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, MD D.A. Astapov, PhD I.V. Pchelina, T.G. Narygina, I.V. Polyakova within the framework of the federal project “Development of a network of national medical research centers and the introduction of innovative medical technologies” assessed the organization and quality of medical care for patients with cardiovascular diseases in Sakhalin region.
The experts of Meshalkin center assessed the organization of medical care for cardiovascular diseases at all levels of its provision, including for acute coronary syndrome, personnel and material and technical support of a medical organization, the procedure for organizing preferential drug provision for cardiac patients, pharmacovigilance and control over medical devices. With the participation of the chief freelance cardiovascular surgeon of the region V.S. Pashin paid special attention to the study of the state of development of vascular surgery in the region, interventional and endovascular methods of treating cardiovascular diseases. When studying the case histories, the effectiveness of the implementation and application of clinical guidelines was assessed, including the criteria for assessing the quality of the disease profile. Also the working meeting was held with heads of departments in areas to study the issues of informatization in health care in the Unified State Health Information System, the formation of state statistical reporting and a regional register of patients with cardiovascular diseases for the provision of medicines.
After a detailed analysis of the data, the recommendations based on the results of the field event will be discussed via videoconferencing and presented to the leadership of the regional ministry of health, the Sakhalin regional clinical hospital to the chief freelance specialists in the areas, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
