On 18 August 2020, employees of «E.Meshalkin National Medical Research Center» of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, MD D.A. Astapov , PhD D.N. Losik, within the framework of the federal project “Development of a network of national medical research centers and the introduction of innovative medical technologies” assessed the organization and quality of medical care for patients with cardiovascular diseases in Chukotka Autonomous District.
In addition to the analysis of statistics of morbidity and mortality of the population from diseases of the circulatory system, targets of the regional program “Control cardiovascular diseases”, an assessment of all levels of organization of medical care, patient routing schemes, analysis of medical records of an inpatient for compliance with the procedures and standards of medical care , compliance of the prescribed treatment with modern clinical guidelines. Particular attention is paid to the state of the level of informatization in the health sector of the region.
The preliminary results of the visiting event and the prospects for the development of specialized medical care for patients with circulatory system diseases were discussed at working meetings with the assistant to the Governor of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug E.V. Podlesny, head of the Department of Organization of Medical Care for Adults B.V. Tuneeva, acting chief physician of the Chukotka Regional Hospital T.A. Ostapenko, chief freelance cardiologist of the Chukotka Autonomous District M.P. Shalginova.
