On 13 and 14 August 2020, employees of «E.Meshalkin National Medical Research Center» of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, MD V.M. Nazarov, PhD I.V. Pchelina, T.G. Narygina within the framework of the federal project “Development of a network of national medical research centers and the introduction of innovative medical technologies” assessed the organization and quality of medical care for patients with cardiovascular diseases in The Republic of Buryatia.
The experts studied the analysis of the incidence and mortality of the population from cardiovascular diseases in the region, materials on achieving the targets of the regional program “Control of cardiovascular diseases” for 2019 and 6 months of 2020, the procedure for routing patients with circulatory system diseases in the region, regulatory documents on the organization of medical care, resource provision of the cardiological and cardiovascular services of the region.
The experts visited the regional vascular center, the department of cardiovascular surgery of «N.A. Semashko Republican clinical hospital», examined the X-ray operating room, telemedicine center. We met with representatives of health care, hospital administration, heads and attending doctors of departments, the chief cardiologist of the republic. The system of organization of preferential drug provision for cardiac patients, pharmacovigilance and control over medical products has been studied. In order to assess the quality of treatment of cardiac surgery patients, an examination of the case histories was carried out. The staff of the cardiology department for patients with ACS demonstrated one of the fragments of the system of internal control and safety of medical activities in terms of preventing falls in patients.
In the Medical Information and Analytical Center, a presentation of a fragment of the regional information system of the subsystem of the Unified State Information System in Healthcare for the management of processes in healthcare is presented.
The preliminary results of the visiting event were discussed at a working meeting with the participation of the head of the department of specialized medical care for the adult population of the Ministry of Health of the Zabaykalsky Krai S.D. Oshorova, consultant of the drug supply department of the Ministry of Health of the Zabaykalsky Krai O. Yu. Botoeva, Chief Physician of «N.A. Semashko Republican clinical hospital», I.A. Shpak, heads of specialized departments, chief cardiologist of the Republic of Buryatia.
