On 13 and 14 August 2020, employees of «E.Meshalkin National Medical Research Center» of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, PhD I.V. Pchelina, T.G. Narygina within the framework of the federal project “Development of a network of national medical research centers and the introduction of innovative medical technologies” assessed the organization and quality of medical care for patients with cardiovascular diseases in Zabaykalsky Krai.
Based on the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the hospital in the context of a new coronavirus infection, work was carried out with documents, meetings with the hospital management, the head of the regional vascular center, the chief cardiologist of the Zabaykalsky Krai, heads and attending physicians of the cardiac surgery department, the department of X-ray surgical methods of diagnosis and treatment, and a clinical pharmacologist. The center of telemedicine technologies was examined, which provides monitoring of patients with ACS and ACS in the Zabaykalsky Krai, organizing telemedicine consultations with doctors from the regions of the Territory.
At the Ministry of Health of the Trans-Baikal Territory, meetings were held with specialists of the department of drug supply, the chief surgeon of the Zabaykalsky Krai, during which the system of organizing preferential drug supply for cardiac patients, the volume and structure of surgical care for the population with cardiovascular diseases were studied.
The experts studied the case histories of patients who received cardiac surgery, assessed the organization of pharmacovigilance and control over medical devices in the hospital, the level of automation of treatment processes.
The preliminary results of the work were discussed at a working meeting together with specialists from the National Medical Research Center of Endocrinology with the participation of the Minister of Health of the Zabaykalsky Krai A.M. Shangina, Deputy Minister – Head of the Department for Organization of Medical Care for the adult population Yu. N. Zverochkina, head of the department of departmental control and quality management of medical care T.N. Shavrova, Deputy Chief Physician of the Regional Clinical Hospital O.V. Kritskaya, the main specialists of the region. During the meeting, directions of the region’s activities to improve the quality and availability of cardiological and surgical care, and to reduce mortality rates from diseases of the circulatory system were outlined.
